Surah Waqiah + Urdu 1.32

This application provides users with the opportunity to recite Surah Waqiah along with its Urdu translation.

Surah Waqiah, revealed in Makkah, comprises 96 verses (ayaat). It is reported that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sal Allaho Alehi Wasallam) stated that individuals who consistently recite this Surah will not be counted among the absent-minded, avoiding proximity to poverty.

Additionally, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) emphasized that recitation of Surah al-Waqi’ah results in a radiant countenance on the Day of Reckoning. Narration from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) reveals that those who recite this Surah every Friday will be among those favored by Allah (S.w.T.) and cherished by others. Such individuals will be granted relief from troubles and poverty and will be regarded as devoted companions of Imam Ali (a.s.). Furthermore, reciting this Surah for the deceased is believed to lead to the forgiveness of sins, providing ease for those on their deathbed.

Holding this Surah is also said to enhance one's provisions. Imam Ali Zainul Abideen (a.s.) narrated that if an individual recites this Surah on the first night of the lunar month and continues to do so, increasing the number of recitations in accordance with the date—reciting it ten times on the tenth night and so forth until the fourteenth night—they can expect significant increases in sustenance.
